About the role
FASA and I&P are recruiting a Portfolio Officer to support the fund's financial and operational management. Reporting to the Finance & Operations Manager, the postholder will coordinate portfolio information, valuation methodology, treasury and governance processes. The role may be based in Ghana, Kenya, Côte d'Ivoire or Senegal.
Key responsibilities
Maintain monitoring frameworks, KPI tools and dashboards, and analyse financial information from fund managers.
Prepare periodic financial and narrative reports and governance materials.
Support accounting, treasury, capital drawdowns, compliance and KYC processes.
Maintain valuation methodology and fund-level risk registers, and coordinate with the investment team.
Key requirements
Master's degree in finance, accounting, audit, international development finance or a related discipline.
Three to six years of relevant experience in fund operations, portfolio monitoring, financial management or donor compliance and reporting.
Professional English and strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and discipline in managing operational processes.

Prior exposure to investment activities.
