Summary
Analyse distressed businesses and develop financial restructuring and turnaround solutions for IDC’s investment portfolio.
About the role
The analyst will assess the financial position of business partners and support recovery plans that improve sustainability and protect IDC’s investments. The work connects detailed financial diagnostics with funding structures, committee recommendations and monitoring of turnaround interventions.
Key responsibilities
Analyse financial statements and cash-flow forecasts to diagnose distress and assess recovery options.
Develop restructuring proposals covering funding, repayment terms and balance-sheet solutions.
Prepare approval submissions and monitor the implementation and financial effect of turnaround plans.
Key requirements
BCom Honours in finance, accounting, economics or a relevant discipline.
Three to five years of financial due-diligence, modelling and restructuring experience.
Balance-sheet restructuring experience and the ability to evaluate viable recovery strategies.
Nice to have
CA or CFA credentials.
