About the role

This Transaction Leader role involves directly leading multiple client transactions for Africa’s most innovative businesses, supporting clients on strategic and transactional matters including structuring funding vehicles and blended finance approaches.
Key responsibilities
Represent businesses and investors on capital raises across equity, debt, quasi-equity and blended capital structures
Oversee multiple concurrent transactions and capital strategy projects
Manage and coach Analysts and Associates while collaborating with senior leadership
Originate new business opportunities and engage with the global investor network
Key requirements
5–8 years in investment banking, private investment, development finance or corporate transaction roles
Significant experience in structuring transactions and engaging with investors
Strong financial modelling and commercial documentation skills
Demonstrated project/transaction management capabilities
Team management and junior staff coaching experience
Excellent communication and analytical abilities
Professional English fluency; French required for Dakar-based applicants

Background in sectors supporting African economic development (agriculture, energy, financial services or healthcare)
