About the role
Proparco is the French private-sector development finance institution, a subsidiary of Agence Française de Développement (AFD). The role contributes to the study of investment opportunities alongside the investment team.
Key responsibilities
Financial, strategic, and competitive analysis of target companies and funds and their sectors
Investment modelling and valuation
Participate in monitoring of portfolio companies and funds
Write investment memorandums
Analyse recent private equity activity in Africa and other regions
Contribute to cross-functional divisional projects
Support prospecting missions and monitoring of local offices
Key requirements
Degree from a major business school, engineering school, IEP, or Master's 2 in corporate finance
Prior experience in corporate finance, M&A, strategy consulting, transaction services, or investment funds
Proficiency in financial analysis tools: Excel and PowerPoint
Fluency in French and English
