About the role
The Senior Manager oversees the Tirisano Construction Fund’s Enterprise Development Programme across new, active and legacy portfolios. Working in a small team, the role combines senior governance and strategy with hands-on funding assessment, disbursement controls, loan monitoring and management of distressed exposures.
Key responsibilities
Lead programme priorities and funding rounds, coordinating assessments, approvals, contracting and disbursement readiness.
Oversee contractor performance and direct specialist support to address development needs and project risks.
Maintain portfolio and cash-flow oversight, analyse arrears and manage restructuring, recovery and legal work.
Prepare management and trustee reporting and maintain financial controls, compliance and auditable records.
Key requirements
Relevant postgraduate qualification in commerce, finance, business, engineering, construction, quantity surveying, project management or a related field.
Eight to ten years of relevant experience, including at least three years in senior management, programme leadership or portfolio management.
Practical understanding of contractor businesses, funding assessment, due diligence and loan-portfolio risks.
Strong governance, multidisciplinary leadership and experience working with financial, legal and technical advisers.
Nice to have
Relevant master’s degree and professional registration or membership.
