About the role
The Senior Fund Specialist supports IFISA’s infrastructure asset-management and treasury mandate at DBSA. The role combines portfolio monitoring and investment analysis with capital mobilisation, instrument structuring and liquidity management. It also tracks infrastructure delivery and financing performance, supporting governance and reporting across the fund’s assets and liabilities.
Key responsibilities
Prepare investment memoranda, valuations and financial models for infrastructure-fund assets.
Structure debt, equity, bond, preference-share and blended-finance instruments.
Support capital mobilisation, syndication, debt issuance, liquidity and treasury activities.
Monitor project-finance and listed or unlisted capital-market portfolios.
Key requirements
Relevant bachelor's degree plus a postgraduate qualification.
At least eight years of experience, including portfolio management of project-finance or listed/unlisted capital-market instruments.
Proven finance, investment or asset-management track record.
CA(SA), CFA, MBA, engineering or actuarial credentials desirable.
