This Senior Associate role is based in Freetown, Sierra Leone, requiring sophisticated relationship management and transaction execution capabilities in frontier markets.
Key responsibilities
Drive project execution on identifying and evaluating investment opportunities
Conduct sector and geographic landscape assessments
Identify and engage regional and international investors
Build and maintain relationships with local sponsors and investors
Support complex commercial due diligence assignments
Develop client-facing recommendations and value-creation strategies
Advise on blended finance vehicle structuring and deployment
Key requirements
Minimum 5 years in high-calibre finance, investment banking or consulting
MBA from a reputable institution
Experience living and working in West Africa
Strong business development acumen
Quantitative skills with financial modelling and valuation knowledge
Deep understanding of frontier market challenges and macroeconomic trends
Demonstrated resilience and willingness to step outside comfort zones
Fluent English
