About the role
InfraCredit is a Nigerian financial institution providing credit guarantees to enable long-term local currency infrastructure financing. This Senior Associate role in Credit Risk and Portfolio Management supports credit risk execution, transaction closing, portfolio management and relationship maintenance across InfraCredit’s guarantee portfolio.
Key responsibilities
Review deal structures from a credit risk perspective and ensure alignment of term sheets, credit papers and legal agreements with guarantee policy
Manage conditions precedent fulfilment and sign-off processes
Create loan repayment schedules in the transaction management system
Review guarantee documentation and assess transaction controls
Conduct detailed due diligence reviews of financial models, environmental/social reports and counterparty information
Prepare risk assessment matrices identifying and allocating risks with proposed mitigants
Monitor all active deals and credit conditions including covenants, precedent conditions and performance indicators
Manage collateral monitoring including valuations, cover ratios and margin call requirements
Track covenant breaches and escalate through appropriate channels
Maintain regular client contact to ensure timely receipt of risk information and conduct periodic security reviews
Prepare periodic management information system reports and presentations
Support compliance monitoring of on-lending schemes and funding arrangements
