About the role

This Senior Analyst role joins the Private Equity Fund of Funds team in Cape Town, working alongside senior investment professionals on intermediated business investments across global emerging markets.
Key responsibilities
Evaluate business plans and pitch materials, develop financial projections and perform comparative analysis
Engage in due diligence activities covering financial, commercial, tax and legal aspects
Facilitate fund structuring and fundraising coordination
Oversee and manage portfolio company monitoring
Create and maintain valuation models and financial forecasts
Execute product reporting, market analysis, marketing support and special projects
Key requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
5 years of professional experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital or management consulting
Strong financial modelling capabilities
Superior analytical and communication competencies
Fluent English (written and spoken)
Readiness to travel as needed
Nice to have
Prior Fund-of-Funds experience
Multilingual abilities
Familiarity with emerging markets
