About the role
Within Investment Banking Coverage and Origination, the sector lead will shape the bank’s diversified-industrials strategy and manage senior corporate relationships. The remit connects sector analysis and client needs with transaction opportunities across Nedbank’s product teams.
Key responsibilities
Build sector and client strategies and develop a pipeline of cross-product banking opportunities.
Lead client engagement, pitches and transaction origination while managing revenue and relationship performance.
Coordinate internal specialists and apply the bank’s credit, governance and risk standards to client activity.
Key requirements
Relevant degree and at least eight years of business, corporate and investment banking and sector experience.
Understanding of diversified industrials, client financial analysis and transaction origination.
Ability to manage senior relationships, negotiate and turn sector insights into commercial opportunities.
Nice to have
Master’s degree, CA(SA) or CFA qualification.
