About the role
The relationship manager will connect Tanzania-based financial institutions and international clients with Absa’s country, regional and global bankers. The position combines client coverage, financing solutions and deal-pipeline management, with responsibility for growing relationships within the bank’s risk framework.
Key responsibilities
Build account plans, identify revenue opportunities and coordinate product solutions for FI and NBFI clients.
Support pitches, credit-limit requests and transaction closure with country product teams and global bankers.
Monitor client relationships, regulatory developments and governance requirements and complete annual business reviews.
Key requirements
University degree in commerce, business, economics or an equivalent discipline.
Three to five years of corporate banking experience, including financial-institution coverage and at least two years of relevant relationship management.
Knowledge of Tanzania’s corporate banking market, debt products and the NBFI regulatory environment.
