This Project Leader role based in Dakar involves leading multiple concurrent client projects across sectors in Francophone West Africa, acting as a trusted advisor and managing junior staff.
Key responsibilities
Lead multiple projects solving complex problems and designing impactful solutions for diverse clients
Implement outcomes that drive impact and extend work across engagements to ensure action and implementation support
Oversee project management, work planning and accountability for key milestones
Manage and coach junior team members while developing leadership capabilities
Support business development and network building with innovative solution development
Key requirements
5–7 years’ proven experience at a top global management consulting firm, investment firm, or as an entrepreneur/leader in a high-growth business
Ability to work effectively with clients at all levels managing complex, multi-stakeholder situations
Team management and junior staff coaching experience
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Professional fluency in both English and French
Work authorisation in Senegal required
Nice to have
MBA or advanced degree
Prior Africa experience, particularly in Francophone West Africa
Interest in sectors like agriculture, energy, financial services or healthcare
