Summary
Advise HNI and UHNI clients on investment portfolios while originating relationships and meeting asset-growth, sales and client-acquisition targets.
About the role
Within RMB Nigeria Asset Management, the Private Wealth Associate combines investment advice and portfolio reviews with a substantial business-development mandate. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, the role is accountable for growing assets under management, acquiring and retaining wealthy clients and positioning investment products in Nigeria.
Key responsibilities
Prospect and onboard HNI/UHNI clients, assess their objectives and risk tolerance, and maintain ongoing advisory relationships.
Recommend investment solutions, review portfolio performance and propose rebalancing across asset classes.
Meet agreed assets-under-management growth targets and collaborate with product and investment teams.
Keep client records current and ensure advisory, sales and onboarding activity complies with regulatory and KYC/AML requirements.
Key requirements
Degree in finance, economics, business administration or a related subject.
Five to seven years in business development, investment or relationship management, or client-facing financial-services sales.
Evidence of achieving sales or asset-growth targets and knowledge of Nigerian capital markets and regulation.
Strong client communication, negotiation and analytical skills, with experience serving high-net-worth clients.
Nice to have
Relevant professional certification, including CFA or CIS.
