Summary
Lead technical preparation of infrastructure projects and develop feasibility work that supports bankable financing proposals at DBSA.
About the role
The specialist will guide projects through development and preparation, connecting engineering feasibility with investment and financing requirements. The remit covers technical studies, delivery risks and the coordination of advisers needed to move infrastructure concepts towards implementation.
Key responsibilities
Direct feasibility, engineering, cost and implementation assessments for infrastructure projects.
Coordinate technical advisers, environmental and social work, permits and procurement requirements.
Assess delivery risks and align technical findings with project-finance models and bankability decisions.
Key requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or the built environment, including civil engineering, construction or quantity surveying.
At least ten years of project-preparation experience, with project-finance and feasibility expertise.
Ability to manage advisers, technical stakeholders and complex infrastructure development work.
Nice to have
Relevant PMI, PRINCE2 or SACPCMP accreditation.
