About the role
This Nairobi-based role combines investment advice and portfolio-construction guidance with relationship management for affluent and high-net-worth clients. Within the Insurance & Asset Management business, the Manager develops integrated financial solutions and grows the client portfolio. Sales, investment distribution and business development are substantial parts of the remit, alongside service quality and risk and regulatory controls.
Key responsibilities
Manage an assigned portfolio of affluent and high-net-worth clients, providing investment advice and portfolio-construction guidance.
Develop integrated investment solutions aligned with client needs and maintain ongoing advisory relationships.
Grow assets under management, identify new business and meet revenue targets through investment sales and distribution.
Resolve client enquiries and coordinate operational support while maintaining governance, risk and regulatory standards.
Key requirements
First degree in business, commerce, finance or a related field.
Five to seven years of relevant experience in affluent-client services, investment distribution or asset management.
Understanding of investment products and services, operational and administrative processes, and risk and compliance requirements.
Client-service and problem-resolution experience, with financial analysis and relationship-management capability.
Nice to have
Experience in a comparable investment sales, advisory or operations environment.
