Summary
DBSA is seeking a project-finance leader for the PSP Programme to structure and execute infrastructure transactions, mobilise capital and lead a specialist team through 2030.
About the role
This fixed-term PSP Programme role leads the structuring, development and execution of infrastructure-finance transactions. The postholder will lead teams and financing initiatives spanning public-private funding, project bankability, capital mobilisation and stakeholder coordination.
Key responsibilities
Lead the structuring and execution of infrastructure-finance transactions and financing initiatives.
Oversee advanced financial modelling, due diligence, bankability assessments and credit-process inputs.
Develop funding approaches across public-private partnerships, blended finance, debt and equity structures.
Manage stakeholder engagement, transaction governance and a specialist project-finance team.
Key requirements
Postgraduate qualification in development finance, finance, business, engineering, economics or a related field.
At least ten years of infrastructure, development or project-finance experience, including at least three years supervising teams.
Proven end-to-end transaction execution experience, including public-private partnerships, blended finance and credit approval processes.
Experience working with DFIs, banks or institutional investors, and strong understanding of project risk and bankability.
