DBSA is recruiting a senior transaction lead to structure, execute and implement complex infrastructure-finance and sustainable-financing transactions.
About the role
The Lead Infrastructure Finance role guides the development and execution of complex transactions across DBSA's infrastructure-finance mandate. It combines senior deal leadership, finance mobilisation and advisory work to progress bankable projects and sustainable financing initiatives.
Key responsibilities
Lead the structuring, development, execution and implementation of complex infrastructure-finance transactions.
Guide transaction teams, financing strategies and advisory work from early assessment through execution.
Assess bankability, risks, financing structures and the commercial viability of proposed projects.
Mobilise finance and build effective relationships with clients, financiers and other transaction stakeholders.
Key requirements
Postgraduate qualification in development finance, finance, business, engineering, economics or a related field.
At least ten years of senior project-finance, financial-services or infrastructure-finance experience.
Demonstrated experience in infrastructure transactions, emerging markets, risk management and financing structures.
Strong understanding of banking and financial markets, legal and regulatory requirements, and transaction bankability.
