About the role
The Investor Relations Analyst supports PIDG's funding strategy by managing investor relationships and coordinating engagement activities across development finance and private markets. Reporting to the Global Head of Investor Relations, the role involves developing pitch materials, maintaining CRM records, and preparing governance reports for management, the Board, and Owners. PIDG (Private Infrastructure Development Group) is a development finance organisation focused on mobilising private investment into infrastructure in frontier and emerging markets across Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia.
Key responsibilities
Coordinate investor meetings and speaking engagements, including scheduling and logistics
Develop presentations and pitch materials using financial analysis and data
Maintain records of investor interactions and ensure timely follow-up actions
Support growth of connections with current and prospective funding partners
Update and manage the CRM database tracking investor interactions and opportunities
Prepare governance reports for management, Board, and Owners
Ensure accuracy across all investor communications
Facilitate cross-team collaboration
Key requirements
Bachelor's degree
Minimum 2 years of experience in development finance, private markets (infrastructure, private equity, real estate, or venture capital), government, PPP arrangements, or impact-focused organisations
Strong Excel modelling and PowerPoint skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Stakeholder engagement expertise
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision
Nice to have
German and/or French language skills
Emerging markets exposure in Africa and/or Asia
