About the role
Enza Capital is recruiting an Investment Principal to lead transactions and build relationships with founders and co-investors. The role combines investment leadership, portfolio-company support and firm development across African technology businesses, including new AI Africa Fund investments.
Key responsibilities
Originate opportunities and build a strong founder, investor and market network.
Lead due diligence, investment structuring, negotiations and transaction closing.
Support portfolio strategy, hiring, market entry, fundraising and exits, including board-level engagement.
Contribute to investment theses, team development and the firm's strategy.
Key requirements
At least six years of relevant investment experience in venture capital, private equity, hedge funds, advisory or investment banking.
Experience making direct investments in privately held African businesses and serving as a board observer or director.
Operating experience in an African venture-backed technology company.
Strong transaction leadership, investment judgement and understanding of product and technology.
