Summary

DBSA is seeking an infrastructure-finance specialist to develop financial models, structure transactions and support advisory work on bankable infrastructure investments.

About the role

This transacting role supports the structuring and execution of complex infrastructure-finance transactions. The successful candidate will combine advanced financial-modelling capability with due diligence, investment analysis and advisory support to help make sustainable projects financeable.

Key responsibilities

Build, optimise and review project-finance and investment models for infrastructure transactions.

Support transaction structuring, due diligence, investment analysis and the development of financing solutions.

Assess project bankability, risks and financing requirements across the transaction lifecycle.

Contribute to advisory assignments, governance processes and client-facing transaction work.

Key requirements

Postgraduate qualification in development finance, finance, business, engineering, economics or a related field.

At least eight years of relevant project-finance, financial-services or infrastructure-finance experience.

Strong financial modelling, transaction-analysis and infrastructure-investment capability.

Knowledge of emerging-market infrastructure, risk management and the South African policy and regulatory environment.
