About the role
PIC is seeking a Fund Principal to originate, structure and execute property transactions that support portfolio growth, rental income and investment returns. The role combines investment leadership, deal execution and oversight of opportunities within the existing property portfolio. Reference FP001; grade E4–F1.
Key responsibilities
Generate and oversee new property investment opportunities and evaluate acquisitions, disposals and value-creation options.
Structure equity and debt transactions and prepare committee reports and investment motivations.
Lead sales and acquisitions and close transactions in line with client mandates and portfolio objectives.
Build investment networks and maintain pipeline, board and transaction-status reporting.
Key requirements
Honours degree or equivalent in finance, property or real estate, plus certification or a diploma in property law and sales.
Ten to twelve years of property investment and deal experience, including five years in senior management with direct reports.
Expertise in equity and debt structuring, financial modelling, corporate finance and property risk.
FAIS RE5 certificate, or ability to obtain it within six months of employment.
Nice to have
MSc in Real Estate, MBA, CA(SA) or CFA qualification.
