Summary
Assess complex corporate, project and trade-finance credit proposals within MCB’s Risk function.
About the role
The credit manager will evaluate specialised-lending exposures and advise on structures that fit the bank’s risk appetite. This is a credit role in MCB’s Risk unit, with responsibility for underwriting judgement, approval recommendations and portfolio-level risk insight.
Key responsibilities
Analyse financial models, borrowers and transaction structures for specialised-lending proposals.
Recommend credit decisions or exercise delegated authority and identify appropriate risk mitigants.
Monitor portfolio exposures and work with business teams on structuring and emerging risks.
Key requirements
Degree in finance, accounting, banking or a related discipline.
At least six years of corporate-banking experience involving structured, project or trade finance.
Strong credit analysis and modelling skills and understanding of banking regulation.
