About the role
DBSA is recruiting two Climate & Nature Finance Specialists under one requisition. The work develops climate-aligned infrastructure pipelines and supports appraisal, financial structuring and funding mobilisation. It includes coordination with climate funds and development-finance partners, alongside transaction documentation, safeguards and portfolio reporting.
Key responsibilities
Build climate-investment pipelines and conduct feasibility, risk, financial and ESG due diligence.
Develop financial models and investment appraisals.
Structure debt, equity, guarantees and blended-finance transactions.
Mobilise funding from GEF, GCF and DFI partners across energy, water, transport and other climate-aligned infrastructure.
Key requirements
Relevant bachelor's degree.
At least eight years in project finance and mobilisation for climate investments, including three years focused on climate and nature finance.
Exposure to debt, equity, blended finance or guarantees.
Track record in client relationships and transaction execution.
