About the role
This permanent Business Analyst position is based in Sandton and develops dealmaking capability through IDC’s structured training framework. The job combines classroom and workplace learning with real funding assessments, client relationships and investment-committee reporting across the three due-diligence disciplines.
Key responsibilities
Screen financing enquiries from prospective and existing clients.
Assess the market, technical and financial aspects of funding proposals and prepare supporting projections.
Develop and present assessment reports to investment committees.
Maintain client relationships and complete the prescribed due-diligence training within 36 months.
Key requirements
CA(SA), CFA or a relevant BEng/BSc Engineering qualification in one of the disciplines listed by IDC.
Three to five years of experience related to the qualifying specialism.
Numerical analysis, clear communication and the ability to coordinate internal and external stakeholders.
Willingness to travel.
Nice to have
MBA, MBL or another postgraduate commercial qualification; a driver’s licence.
