About the role
The Associate is responsible for processing and executing institutional-client trades across different markets. The role combines trade execution, client coverage, stock and market analysis, order management, regulatory compliance and coordination with local brokers and back-office teams.
Key responsibilities
Develop business with institutional clients through trade execution and market coverage
Provide clients with market data, news, market commentary and trade ideas
Receive and execute client orders through phone, email, Bloomberg and FIX channels
Monitor stock performance and determine appropriate execution strategies
Execute VWAP, volume-restricted, price-restricted and benchmarked orders
Book daily executions in internal order-management systems
Review invoices and send confirmations to clients
Maintain relationships with clients, brokers and back-office teams
Follow fundamental and technical research and regional market developments
Offer access and structured-product solutions
Support cross-border growth between trading desks
Ensure compliance with market, AML, CTF and sanctions requirements
Key requirements
Bachelor's degree
At least four years of experience in a similar role
Strong understanding of capital markets and investment products
Experience in institutional sales, client service or trading
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Very good written and spoken Arabic and English
Good Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Ability to work under pressure and manage changing deadlines
Consistent focus on accuracy and high-quality execution
