About the role
The Assistant Manager, Treasury Client Solutions reports to the Group Treasurer and is responsible for designing and delivering financial risk-management solutions for the Bank and its clients. The role sits within the Treasury & Markets Division and works closely with the Treasurer and Client Relations teams to expand the client base and boost non-funded treasury revenues. Afreximbank (African Export-Import Bank) is a pan-African multilateral trade finance institution headquartered in Cairo, Egypt, mandated to finance and promote intra- and extra-African trade and investment.
Key responsibilities
Design and deliver financial risk-management solutions for the Bank and its clients
Collaborate with the Group Treasurer and Client Relations teams to develop and expand treasury product offerings
Expand the Bank's treasury client portfolio across Africa and CARICOM markets
Drive growth in non-funded treasury revenues
Identify and structure treasury product solutions in collaboration with origination teams
Present treasury product features and benefits to clients and investors
Key requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
Postgraduate degree in Finance, Banking, or a related discipline (preferred)
Minimum 5 years of experience in treasury, financial markets, or a related area
Strong understanding of treasury products and financial risk management
Relevant professional certification (e.g. AMCT, ACI, CTP) is an advantage
Experience working with African financial markets or multilateral development banks is advantageous
