Summary
EBRD is recruiting an Analyst in Dakar to originate, structure, implement and monitor Advice for Small Businesses projects that help SMEs prepare for financing and growth.
About the role
The Analyst joins EBRD's Advice for Small Businesses programme in Senegal. Working with the Principal Manager and senior colleagues, the role combines advisory-project delivery, SME financial analysis, pipeline development and coordination with banking, policy and SME Finance and Development teams.
Key responsibilities
Initiate, structure, implement, monitor and complete advisory projects and related activities.
Analyse client financials and growth prospects, identify advisory needs and support financing readiness.
Develop a compliant pipeline of SME clients and advisory activities in priority areas such as digital, green and inclusion.
Monitor portfolio companies, market trends and follow-up opportunities, and support reporting and donor proposals.
Coordinate with clients, financial institutions, consultants, donors and internal EBRD teams.
Key requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance or equivalent relevant experience.
Financial-analysis, project-management and stakeholder-management skills.
Relevant experience in management consulting, development institutions or financial institutions is preferred.
Fluency in written and spoken English and the language of the country of operations.
